Our world renowned nonprofits are saving lives and revolutionizing the way we do things like treat and defeat childhood cancer and educate our children. So, it only makes sense that a Memphis-based company would team up with Tim Tebow for a national campaign focused on giving back.
American Residential Services (ARS), a privately-held, Memphis-based national provider of air conditioning, heating, and plumbing services, recently announced an endorsement agreement with Tim Tebow. Tebow is a two-time national champion, first-round NFL draft pick, and Heisman Trophy winner, who currently is a college football analyst for the SEC Network and a co-host on FOX’s home renovation competition series, HOME FREE. As a part of the endorsement, Tebow is featured in a fun, selfie-style national commercial that announces ARS will offer special discounts for customers with matching donations to the Tim Tebow Foundation. Tebow and his foundation are actively involved in community outreach and have recently hosted a worldwide prom for children with special needs, funded international special needs adoption, and provided free surgeries for deserving children at the Tebow CURE Hospital.
ARS, which operates a network of more than 70 locally-managed service centers in 22 states (Conway Services in Memphis), has been a longtime supporter of the Tim Tebow Foundation. ARS partnered with Tebow and FOX’s HOME FREE to provide heating, air conditioning, and plumbing services while houses were being built for deserving heroes. As a part of the partnership with Tebow, customers who schedule an appointment through ARS.com/Tebow will receive $10 off each service/repair call for HVAC, plumbing, and energy efficiency services, while ARS donates $10 to the foundation. For equipment installations, ARS customers will receive $150 off and ARS will donate $150 to the foundation.
Typically, when it comes to endorsements, it’s just a celebrity promoting a brand. In this case, however, it’s more of a partnership focused on also doing good. Hopefully, this type of endorsement becomes more of the norm because it could be a powerful vehicle for encouraging additional philanthropy and making a difference across our nation.
