Taste of Science is an annual festival in cities across the United States. Their purpose is to convey science to a wider audience by holding events, recording podcasts, making videos or any other means they can find to engage with the public. They are run 100% by volunteers.
Their big event is the annual Taste of Science Festival, this year April 21-27 across the nation in Memphis two locations on both Monday April 22 and Tuesday April 23
Topics include science of food, flu vaccine, health and sugar, how our brain perceives music, how eyes work
The Comedy of Science event on Thursday, April 25 is with Dr. Neil Hayes, Scientific Director at UT-West Institute for Cancer Research.
