  • Executive Women International was established in 1938 by Lucille Johnson Perkins in California as “ESI-Executive Secretaries Incorporated”.
  • In 1977 during the 30th Annual meeting, the name changed from ESI to EWI because of the changing roles of women in business and their diverse careers growing
  • 1959 - Nashville Chapter chartered
  • We are a 501 c3 charitable nonprofit
