Meredith Taylor

Meredith is a native Memphian who is passionate about connecting people and ideas for the greater good. With a background in both non-profit development and corporate social responsibility her ultimate goal both professionally and personally is to adopt a campground mentality of leaving this world a better place than when she entered it. Meredith had lived in Memphis her entire life until attending Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO for undergrad (Go Rams!). Upon her graduation, Meredith moved back to Memphis where she completed her MBA at Christian Brothers University and quickly got plugged into cityCURRENT by attending numerous signature breakfasts, Women in Business & Philanthropy lunches and even participating as a Charity Spotlight in a previous role at Harwood Center! After being a guest for many years Meredith is excited to be coming on as a member of the cityCURRENT team to help “power the GOOD.”

Over the past several years I've been asked more than a handful of times about Duncan Williams Asset Management's involvement in cityCURRENT. My answer is always the same... Renewing our membership is one of the easiest and best decisions that we make each year! I can't say enough how proud we are to continue to be a member of such a great organization doing truly meaningful work here in the Memphis community.

"It is actually hard to put into words the feeling I had meeting and joining with the Memphis 'giving' community at the LPBC Signature Breakfast hosted by Smith & Nephew and in partnership with The Martin Institute for Teaching Excellence in August, 2014. To see living embodiments of real and true compassion and caring for others, all gathered in one place gave me some sense of the astounding range, depth and sustained good works the business community in Memphis is doing. It was clear to me
